Ideas: This would be a stunning dress if you have a mermaid theme special occasion, or simply if you like the colour blue! Ideal for a mermaid ball gown or luxury mermaid costume.
Materials: Made with a whole patchwork of different fabrics in shades of blue and teal. I’ve included vintage blue lace, teal green satin, cotton, silk and chiffon. Silk velvet and silk chiffon gather over each other at the back where it is longer and could be the mermaid’s tail!
Some edges are raw and fraying for an ethereal look; some are finished with ruffles like waves of the sea. Strands of stretch fabric fall over the dress like tangled fishing nets and a large piece forms a bow at the back so the dress can be as tight or loose as you like with a flattering shape.
Measurements: Bust 38-41” / 96-104cm. Waist: 32-35” / 81-89cm. Hips free.
