Purple pure silk fairy top

Description

This is a gorgeous purple pure silk fairy top. Naturally dyed cami vest top for a fairy costume. Mori girl boho festival fashion, bohemian clothing.

Ideas: This pretty silk top would look lovely with a pair of jeans for a casual boho outfit with a fairy twist; or go full fairy festival fashion with the matching fairy skirt. Add a pair of wings and a flower crown for an adult fairy costume.

Materials: This top has a double layer of pure silk and it feels utterly gorgeous against the skin. I coloured it with logwood natural dye -please note that although I fixed the dye with mordant, there is likely to be some fading over time. There are a couple of odd spots of tarnish from reacting with the saucepan – they barely notice, but I should mention it all the same.
I decorated the neckline with additional ruffles of the silk, along with feathered yarn and a piece of cotton gauze. One shoulder strap is stretch lace with a few sequins and dyed cotton gauze fluttering from the shoulder. The other shoulder strap is a stretchy purple sequin trim.
The top ties at the back to fit and has an added length of purple lace.

Measurements: Bust adjustable due to tying at the back, however would best fit 40 – 47” / 101-120cm.

The skirt and leggings shown are not included, but the skirt is available in the shop.
