I’ve been prancing around and feeling silly for photographs for Threads of a Fairytale for several years now, but this particular photoshoot sticks in my mind. I wonder if you’ve ever been to New England in winter? Or does where you live always mean it snows every year and the lakes freeze over enough to play games of ice hockey? I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to Connecticut and New York state a couple of times in January and February and managed to squeeze a couple of the goddess dresses in my suitcase to photograph whilst there…
Hi everyone! Here in south-west England, the sun is shining and it feels like summer again. So it’s the perfect time to post on my YouTube channel the video I made about me making several sheer beach cover-ups. We have got chiffon kaftans, kimono-style jackets and pretty maxi dresses. If you’d like to take a look at the process of sewing them, then please take a look at the video called ‘Making beach cover-ups‘.
They’re all made from quality Indian scarves and some have the most exquisite embellishments. Most of them – in fact, I think all but one – are made from pure silk chiffon. So you’ll feel like you’re wearing a warm summer breeze! To shop, please go to the Indian Summer collection.
Enjoy the sun!
Hello! I hope you had a good weekend 🙂 I’ve just popped here to tell you about today’s new listing in the Threads of a Fairytale Etsy shop; a pretty mermaid beach dress. It’s made from fairly sheer chiffon so would make a great swimming costume cover up, or layer over jeans and a vest top for a bohemian feel. Just add a flower crown!
