I began my YouTube channel about five years ago with the purpose of sharing everything behind-the-scenes of running my small handmade clothing business, Threads of a Fairytale. Over the years I have shared everything from how I make the clothing, to how I organise my sewing studio, to our trips out for the photoshoots for the shop and Instagram. And along with that I’ve shared my personal life too….
So we’re into March now, and at last there are signs of this third lockdown being over in the coming months, but I have a feeling working from home will still be the norm for many people for the first half of 2021 at least. I’ve been prancing around and feeling silly for photographs for Threads of a Fairytale for several years now, but this particular photoshoot sticks in my mind. I wonder if you’ve ever been to New England in winter? Or does where you live always mean it snows every year and the lakes freeze over enough to play games of ice hockey?
